Bajo el lema \u201cCiudades vivas. Metabolismo &amp; inclusividad\u201d. Espa\u00f1a ha participado en la decimosexta convocatoria de EUROPAN con siete emplazamientos: Almendralejo, Alzira, Barcelona, Beizama, Esparraguera, Madrid y Roquetas de Mar.<\/p>\n<p>En esta edici\u00f3n, el concepto de \u201cmetabolismo\u201d pretend\u00eda que, desde el certamen de EUROPAN, los participantes identificaran y tuvieran en cuenta los cambios y flujos entre materia, energ\u00eda y elementos naturales -como el agua- que intervienen en el ciclo vital de un entorno determinado, mientras que la \u201cinclusividad\u201d se propon\u00eda para combatir posibles fracturas sociales, articulando lo social y lo ecol\u00f3gico.<\/p>\n<p>Durante el acto de entrega, <strong>el director general de Agenda Urbana y Arquitectura, I\u00f1aqui Carnicero<\/strong>, destac\u00f3: \u201cTodos somos conscientes del enorme talento que existe entre los j\u00f3venes arquitectos y arquitectas de nuestro pa\u00eds. Con vuestros proyectos demostr\u00e1is no solo una concienciaci\u00f3n sobre los retos globales, sino que ofrec\u00e9is respuestas concretas\u201d. En este sentido, agradeci\u00f3 a las administraciones p\u00fablicas implicadas en EUROPAN su apoyo para materializar los proyectos ganadores: \u201cEUROPAN da una primera oportunidad a j\u00f3venes arquitectos y es fundamental vuestra colaboraci\u00f3n y la apuesta por los procesos de contrataci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La directora del Institut Catal\u00e0 del S\u00f2l (INCASOL), Merc\u00e8 Conesa<\/strong>, tambi\u00e9n agradeci\u00f3 a los equipos su \u201cesfuerzo\u201d y su \u201cimplicaci\u00f3n\u201d: \u201cEn este EUROPAN 16, se nos planteaba un gran reto. Las ciudades est\u00e1n en una transformaci\u00f3n continua y hay dos vectores que las hacen cambiar mucho m\u00e1s: la descarbonizaci\u00f3n y la digitalizaci\u00f3n, que nos han impactado de una manera radical, as\u00ed que esta mirada hol\u00edstica de la arquitectura debe dar lo mejor de s\u00ed\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, <strong>la presidenta del CSCAE, Marta Vall-llossera<\/strong>, valor\u00f3 el reconocimiento internacional de nuestra arquitectura, con 106 arquitectos y arquitectas espa\u00f1oles procedentes de 41 equipos que han sido galardonados de entre los 127 premios concedidos en esta edici\u00f3n. En su discurso, remarc\u00f3: \u201cLos j\u00f3venes arquitectos necesitan todo nuestro apoyo para poder construir su trayectoria profesional. Las instituciones y las personas que los representamos tenemos la responsabilidad de ofrecerles plataformas que les permitan reivindicarse y dar visibilidad a la capacidad y al talento\u201d. En este sentido, resalt\u00f3 que, a lo largo de sus diecis\u00e9is ediciones, EUROPAN \u201cha sido testigo del crecimiento de los grandes arquitectos del futuro\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, <strong>Manuel Blanco, presidente de EUROPAN Europa<\/strong>, enfatiz\u00f3: \u201cLos arquitectos de EUROPAN demuestran que la sociedad tiene salvaci\u00f3n y que la Arquitectura es importante para transformar el mundo mediante el trabajo conjunto entre varias disciplinas y administraciones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tras el acto de entrega de los galardones, los equipos premiados desgranaron sus proyectos en un acto p\u00fablico que tuvo lugar a las cinco de la tarde, en la sede de la Nau Bostik. La exposici\u00f3n qued\u00f3 inaugurada a las ocho y media de la tarde.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qu\u00e9 es EUROPAN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>EUROPAN es un concurso bienal europeo para j\u00f3venes arquitectos menores de 40 a\u00f1os cuyo objetivo principal es profundizar en el conocimiento y la investigaci\u00f3n en el campo del h\u00e1bitat y del urbanismo. Al igual que en 2019, esta edici\u00f3n ha sido convocada por el Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana con el objetivo de facilitar que los ganadores puedan llevar sus ideas a la pr\u00e1ctica.
